The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 害我咋就这么不喜欢这小孩呢！最开始是看预告觉得《骁》好听画面也不错，但是来影院看也觉得太离谱了叭：“婆婆妈妈”出现多次，天下无敌黑大王竟是人设，小孩子特别招人烦总对着干特别蠢，还把新娘和猪替换…不敢深究，不能带脑子，挺无语。黑大王的竹子水杯可爱又环保～种草了

如果索尼当初没有和漫威影业合作，而是坚持把《超凡蜘蛛侠3、4》《险恶六人组》拍出来，现在蜘蛛侠电影宇宙早就成型了。
既不能被现实中的困难所打倒，放弃梦想；也不能做一个纯粹的理想派，难以认识深刻的现实。

很希望知道编剧站在什么样的角度在讲解这个片子，他希望传达的是什么。现在看虎墩个人更多的是能感觉到这是一位倔强、不听劝并造成后续一系列问题角色形象，显然不符合想传播的形象。角色的设计形象还是挺可爱的，多一星。

很多优秀电影剧情都很老套，在于导演能怎么拍，这片我看到了进步，也看到细腻，四星鼓励
很久之前经常在抖音上刷到虎墩的短片，现在出电影版了。笑点挺多的，本片对于小孩来看有点成人了，对于大人来看有点幼稚了。本觉得黑大王挺厉害的，弄了半天就是一帮手下人哄他玩的把戏。
电影很好看，家人和朋友一起去看的，人物演的很好。给主角满分，五星好评！！！
总的来说这部电影人物表达少了些个性化锋芒，故事新颖度差点意思，剧情有些平淡。
跟着小朋友看动画片，制作挺精良，故事有点意思。

2022.02.13雨 元宝寒假最后一天，为了诱导他早起去看的，出乎意外的好，形象创作，故事情节，节奏配乐等等都很棒，老少咸宜，想起最近看的《雄狮少年》和《向着明亮那方》，国产动漫真的进步很快，给人惊喜；但另一方面，又有些难过和担忧，这几步好片都没有获得应有的关注和排片，甚至受到非议，真怕打击了认真做动画的这些新生动画人，只能通过微弱的行动去支持，希望星星之火可以燎原。
100%漫威出品爆米花，管他是Sony还是marvel studio反正拍出来的感觉也大差不离。剧情依旧是bug一大堆，喜欢哈里森演的疯批亡命恋人，跟屠杀结合后简直欲到流鼻血，劫狱一段的亲吻戏是目前本年度最佳kiss，虐杀仇人后教堂的黑纱婚礼太变态太酷了，甚至有点不舍得他们死。毒液Eddie这对发挥平稳，明显是婚后小夫妻的小打小闹，吃醋出走还醉宿夜店，毒液要不要这么小娇妻。彩蛋沙滩蜜月互诉衷肠，就差接吻之后送入洞房，结果下一秒就是亲亲我我躺床上，满屏幕的粉色夕阳，荷尔蒙都要溢出来了。总结，这是部爱情片，爆米花爱情片里找意义？what's wrong with u？
陪孩子看的！坑爹的排片，就早晨8点20有一场！有些电影的票房真的不是车轮式排片造就的？难得几部动画电影！熊出没也不过一天三场，喜羊羊之类一天都没排片！小虎墩之前在抖音就很喜欢这个形象！可爱又真的有点虎！动画电影，剧情简单不复杂，人物生动诙谐，就很棒了！
