The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 作为爆米花都不太合格，虽然致敬了一大圈，各种元素也搞了一圈，但就是，没啥意思。预告涵盖几乎全部笑点，如果不是凯凯烂片粉，还是别浪费时间了。
看的过程始终觉得“故事除了当作承载凯奇表演的vehicle之外还有什么意义？”但是停下来想了一阵，知道他们要干什么了：这个故事从一开始，就是为了承载凯奇的表演而诞生的，情节的所有自指和自嘲，是在告诉观众“我们知道自己正在做什么，你不必担心”。所有人（或许除了凯奇）投入本片的所有努力，都源于那份对尼古拉斯·凯奇的银幕表演的爱。换言之，你可以把本片看作“凯奇表演生涯高光时刻混剪（有情节版）”，只是请来现在的凯奇（和整个剧组）再次上演那些时刻。可惜编导的天才有限，这样一个相当酷的idea，在现实中也就那样。idea不是艺术！

看时不觉得怎么样，要看完才有点理解凯奇向凯奇致敬的味道。

挺有新意与心意的一部商业爆米花小片，很有尼古拉斯凯奇的个人情怀。
大概有那么三五秒钟是真诚的，剩下的时间都湮没在莫名其妙之中。
空有一个概念，故事粗糙又老套，凯奇真影迷看的应该会很开心…对凯奇的印象还停留在15年前大学时候看火柴人、居家男人、天气预报员这些剧情片上…
三星半 剧本一般笑料一般但是看得津津有味因为凯奇的魅力实在无法挡，各种经典老梗最好笑还是乱买东西的设计，最后，吴确实是大师。
戏谑 影迷 爆米花 这种电影演的再烂 口碑也不至于差了吧 哈哈
