The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 怎么看都不像这个时代的片子，导演是从任何一个角度来陈述一段发生在上个世纪的故事。人生之不如意十有八九，不肯向命运低头的人们，常常发现自己的执着，到最后一无所有。

一个房间做在一起讨论怎么处理一个种族，思路可以，但是拍的太无聊，这种一个场景全靠对话支撑的片子没有一点冲突亮点很难看下去。
