A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.
一星不值。西部片里就没一个非黑人重要角色，无论白人还是黄种人…与这种极度自恋价值观相比，连zz正确都变得可爱起来了。
属实无聊，这种西部片，一码用黑人，不觉得难受么？看的人都不舒服…
以为像to all the boys一样甜甜片，其实是治愈片，形式上做的没有那么俗套也可以，看到20分钟一度以为要剧终了哈哈哈
概括起来就是：毒液嘤嘤嘤呜呜呜问你爱不爱我你停顿了一秒你一定不爱我了啊啊啊喔喔喔T_T 然后哈老师像任何一个一头雾水又无可奈何的老公一样道歉，平息家庭纠纷，这个过程中，反派被气死啊不，害死了！所以就专心谈恋爱吧！没有你们反派都觉得舒心，世界还能多撑两年呢
最后的剧情狗血了。。前半部分还比较紧凑。配乐可以
电影中两个人最后很真诚的把自己内心的想法说出来，给了彼此一个机会，然而现实中的人们就不一定懂得这么处理了……
连剪辑都是稀碎的，好像廉价B级片那样给你黏糊糊又昏昏欲睡的观影体验，是想和小蜘蛛一起负负得正吗？
汤老师胖了，躺下来肚子乱颤。个别场面给恐血小哥哥吓到了嘻嘻。原声，印度版插了几次赌场广告啧啧。
黑人西部片，好SB的设定，节奏莫名其妙，剧情又尬又装，口区
后半截的设计有点意思。有点没想到。音乐非常nice 。动作也很不错。3.5
如果说新版《豪勇七蛟龙》是黑人导演想要创建西部世界的一个黑人英雄，这部片子可以说是创造了黑人世界的西部英雄，多彩夸张的服化道，一首接着一首的灵魂爵士，戏谑幽默的对话，黑人元素和西部元素有趣大胆且成功地融合在一起。最后两个女角色不用枪用肉搏简直就是Youtube黑人大姐打架录影👍我对导演不熟，看了简介知道他也是歌手出身，上一次让我惊叹能把黑人音乐天赋和电影融合的是50美分的《权欲》，不过，结尾虽说是反传统，但是也是忒老的反传统了，我还是想看最后好好来个对决的的。所以这个地方我得扣一星。结尾的画面拉长，有种过去幕布看电影的感觉，似乎人物挥之欲出却又再画面上独自飞奔，挺有意思。对于一些看到黑人演西部片就觉得不对味儿的观众，我想说，西部片不属于白人，它应该属于每一个勇于探索，热爱旷野的灵魂。
神奇的是，暂停播放处正好是最棒的部分，后面的剧情是一场灾难。为什么有这么多黑人出现在西部片里，就像，甘肃人出海打鱼那种感觉。
最可怕的是 他们在模仿他们最恨的那波人
有一些好设计但是节奏实在太灾难了，不敢相信是21年的电影，我寻思Nat和Buck看着也不像差辈的兄弟啊？而且外景搭得好假，怎么那么新。
黑人西部牛仔，装的很酷，但剧情很狗血很多漏洞
如果就这个质量，就不用再拍了。当然，我现在这个状态，看什么都看不进去。
Excellent soundtracks of all time. As a qualified western movie, 2-hrs length is way too long especially there is part of revenge. The ambiguity of conflict was the biggest flaws, however what else could we count on when it was already the limitation ever?
太难看了，换成白人也一样难看，没完没了的叨逼台词和人脸特写，外景也假，除了音乐和结尾枪战能加点分，据称网飞砸了9千万，比起几年前同样的大制作《豪勇七蛟龙》差的远了，而那部片只有一个黑人华盛顿能碾压此片
漫威和索尼就拍了个这？！剧情大无语，而且还拍的乱七八糟，要说第一部还有一点惊喜，第二部真的就是强行狗尾续貂的感觉。鸡言鸡语和片尾彩蛋的小蜘蛛还算亮点（引出无家可归），另外Anne和Dan表现还不错，除此之外好像没什么值得说的地方了。整个反派设定也乱七八糟，连着看了几部Woody Harrelson的烂片之后真是快有PTSD了…反正就挺可惜的吧，挺好的一个系列，还是不希望就这么断了（坑都挖了这么多了）…
