The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 喜剧的空间很大，但并没有做好。一个打野球的暴躁小子（还15岁就有了女儿），一波三折登堂入室进入NBA的故事。值得回味的就是和诺维茨基的那通视讯电话了，可惜这种梗太少了。

不得不说故事很俗套，不过看到一大票NBA明星来露露脸还是有趣的。
很多NBA球星客串，亚当桑德斯演的真好，埃尔南戈麦斯也是真的帅，爱德华兹演的真他妈坏。这绝对是部好电影。

中规中矩体育片，爱篮球的值得一看。伯乐与千里马的相遇拍得一般，分别倒是拍出感觉了，机场球员看着教练不见身影那段，使电影提升不少。但转折太快，就和全片一样，有很多剧作技巧上的安排，就是处理得较粗糙。
埃尔南戈麦斯虽然演技不太行，但是真帅啊，身材真的顶！
