The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 科恩重演莎翁，在多版本的《麦克白》改编中，能否排得到前列恐怕还是打个问号。但是影片在风格化和形式感上确实做得十分出彩，精美的黑白影调干净、简洁、漂亮，渐进地模糊了戏剧与电影的界限，视觉享受直接拉满。

我就是为了摄影才看它的，黑白的层次真丰富啊。故事也没有太大的改动。
像是一场无人问津的话剧被拍成了黑白电影，绚烂的词藻，夸张又惨白。
癩蛤蟆嘗試吃天鵝肉，最後被蝦兵蟹將鉗死了…
舞台感太强，削弱了电影的魅力。演员说着莎士比亚台词，却没有一丝古典的韵味，人物身体语言、动作语言、房屋建筑均让人出戏，整个就是一现代舞台剧。麦克白的贪欲动机生硬单薄，所以他的毁灭也难以引起共鸣。

以及，最新版麦克白夫人首镜，完全就是“该她”的毫无违和感[哇]一切天注定。
极简的布景与美到极致的摄影，倒是很好的呈现了舞台效果！让这部戏剧味更浓。而简化的剧情也使故事更紧凑 演绎得也很优秀
属于颁奖季特供了，有点<第七封印>的影子，不过也就看表演、视听和导演风格，故事真的没什么意思了。
是否那个文本本身太有能量了，你们各自取一瓢改出自己的个性范儿，怎么折腾改编，都不容易垮掉啊？好想知道答案[流泪][大哭]。
剧情都知道，看的就是摄影美学，有几幕的光影构图真的绝了。虽然是电影，但更像在看舞台剧，也幸好没去电影院看，这种古英文没有字幕的确很难懂。
與其吃力不討好地仿古，拍成科恩兄弟擅長的黑色喜劇不是更有意思嗎？
