The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 被故事打动，在这个世界日渐隔绝的时候，这样一个基于真实故事展现人性之美的音乐剧真太棒了。不论来自于哪个国家，文化，宗教，这一刻我们都是islander
原来这是电影啊...音乐剧百老汇版的官摄，看着很欢乐，也没有刻意渲染悲情，有些感动
救援物资里提前考虑到女性用品；语言不通就让我们用圣经来传达
个别价值观或体验和我们确有不同，但仅就这部音乐剧作品本身来说，是一部优秀的作品。

听了无数遍album之后终于在Apple TV里看了。感动！
题材很吸引人，从音乐剧的角度来说既没有抓我耳朵的歌，剧情也缺乏节奏。虽然演员都很卖力，但是有限的人数加上很小的舞台感觉局限性还是很大。
