The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 两姐妹朴实无华的杀人生活，利落干脆的的无脑爽片
感觉得出来导演很有想法，黑色幽默和暴力打戏很好得结合，好久没看过这样出色的搞笑黑道片了。两位年轻女主演们也很出色，推荐。

是怎么做到把这么一段惊心动魄、本可以拍得精彩绝妙的故事，拍得如此平庸的…哪怕有点儿暗流涌动..也行啊…
两个小时的时间，一个小时策划计谋，一个小时胡乱延伸感情线。原来尸体冲上岸之后才是紧张刺激的重头戏，可惜只有寥寥几笔隔靴搔痒。
短而精吧，小成本做的挺好，反差萌，两个不同性格的女孩的友谊线也整挺好，最后愿意住一起也让人会心一笑吧。
太长了，说实话嘛其实这就是双方都在赌二分之一的概率了，纯看老天在保佑谁
节奏过慢…本来应该是很紧张的剧情，但是感觉他们优哉游哉的
就像是战争背景下的剧本会，每一个主角在为一具尸体编造的故事中注入自己的情感，很多台词都非常精彩，虽然不是一部典型的谍战片，但是角色的互动和情节的发展都非常吸引人，没有用大起大落的情节却把故事讲得流畅好看，修改信件的情节简直要笑死我了。
这片其实应该是“绞肉行动”背后的故事，整体有些平淡，玩了些梗，抖了点机灵，让人感觉不咸不淡。至于这次行动是否真有那么重要，恐怕也是情报机关自吹自擂而已，属于“忽悠局”的功劳。不过影片的英式范还是挺足的，几位演员表演还算精彩，波澜不惊。最好玩的是让伊恩-弗莱明打了回酱油。
1.剧情拖沓，植入的小组成员之间的感情线对整个任务的推动并无直接关系，自始至终没有高潮点，没有跌宕起伏。

服化道讚讚 感情戲差評 西班牙的戲很吸引人
这感情戏就算是男神来演也好尬
看到宅女们带着冲锋枪骑自行车去公园跟黑社会火拼，就觉得很燃了。黑帮女也很有意思，感觉像霓虹国哈莉奎茵的设定！虽然是部SB三星片，但枪斗术、近身肉搏和换弹夹居然都巨帅，为这三个元素再加一星。另外剧组是因为太穷了吗？现场收声的效果堪比80年代港产枪战片，还是当年在录像厅看到的录种效果。
演绎真史够精彩，蛇足恋情欠动人。
这个电影最大的震撼点就在这是真实的历史 过度的戏剧化反倒不太喜欢 不知男女主的感情线存在的意义 也许是感情的动机有些牵强 如果把所有的战争场面省掉 似乎对故事的强度没有影响 不如把预算放在故事本身上
