The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 导演很会拍温暖动情的故事，Joaquin Phoenix自带艺术气质，演绎这个角色也是信手拈来，但整体感受还是一般了，缺乏亮点。
非常不喜欢的一类极为端着的影片，看似在讲某些生活和人生的哲理问题，其实空洞的就如同不上班在家唠叨的资本主义闲散人员，看多了就觉得无病呻吟的极度乏味。
结尾万圣节灯笼啪塔啪塔掉下来的时候，那个画面感真的是爱了~~
因为电影院里只有我和朋友，于是我们就肆无忌惮地大声讨论了：“刚刚他在说谁？”“这个matu…是谁？”“谁死了？”“啥？他不是死了吗？”“我的理解是……，是这样的吗？”🤣

黑白电影，很有质感。故事很细腻，娓娓道来，很生活，很喜欢这种叙事方式。最惊艳的是，人家国家的小朋友的思想深度和语言表达水平之强令人赞叹，我还是小朋友的时候应该只会看动画片和玩泥巴。生活挺不容易的，很多人都是一身伤，敏感的，总有泪崩和失落，还有崩溃的瞬间。为人父母不容易，孩子健康成长也不容易。特别写实，所以也特别让人共鸣吧。越看到后面越感动，涉及到很多内核，值得仔细回味。
