The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 恺撒奖难道是看在巴尔扎克的面子上哪？虽然变小了巴黎的浮华虚伪勾心斗角，但是故事本身虽然抽离了吕西安的主线然而还是缺乏小说的故事魅力。旁白音也太多了

一部文学著作，改编成戏剧。从而丧失了文学性，这是不是很戏剧的一件事。
surprisingly我挺惊喜的，可能因为预期比较低并且没看过原著，就像我在没看过The Great Gatsby的时候觉得改编的电影版很好一样

复辟时期的巴黎这个宏大的历史画卷表现得非常迷人：剧院、报纸、出版人、富商、贵族、王室之间的各种勾当，寥寥几个场景就展现地一清二楚。对话非常辛辣（应该是巴尔扎克的功劳）让人印象深刻。此外导演应该是有意加了一些指射当下的元素吸引观众。

一百年前的故事和今天没有多少差别，富人的虚伪和底层对名利的穷追不舍也是一模一样

文学改编的思路很传统，甚至旁白的效果虽然看似自洽但也有敷衍的成分。但这个核心情节一出来，观众会立刻明白为什么这是个适合当今再次拍摄的故事。人类总是重复自己，互联网时代的许多魔幻只不过是借助工具将其夸张放大罢了，巴尔扎克真是大师。

阶级跃升简直是不可能的，路西安运气已经够好了。
巴尔扎克原作的加成过大….有些场面调度倒也会闪闪发光了。男主长了一张好穷苦的脸，多兰是真的好看，两位女士看起来真的很大贵族！
有点当初看香水的感觉了！荒诞又精致，完全不会闷
