THE LOVERS GUIDE is groundbreaking in the fact that it publicised that the couples involved were real life partners but this is slightly dishonest , yes the main couple featured Wendy and her husband were indeed a real life couple who'd been married several years but there was some public controversy that at least one of the couples Kathryn ( The gorgeous brunette ) and Marino ( The well buffed geezer with a ponytail ) had never met one another until they appeared on set where they had unprotected sex for the camera . For a video that self righteously dedicates segments to safe sex it is rather hypocritical
Seeing as it's for education purposes and not pornography as such there's limits as to what can be shown but as a sex education video it's not uninformative though I doubt if you'll be gasping " I never knew that "
As a footnote the main couple featured became something of sexual problem agony aunts in the British press - Until it was revealed that Wendy's husband had a serious heart condition which put a stop to sex . I almost felt sorry for this couple who confessed that they used to make love as often as ten times a day but now couldn't make love once a day because it was too dangerous . My small amount of sympathy soon vanished when shortly afterwards the couple split up and raced off to the gutter press in order to dish the dirt on one another to the highest bidder .
interesting angle..but sports are all about the winning spirit, passion, obsession..just not feeling the excitement..the father/coach figure, if only it did a decent job as Dangal. such an inspiring journey, this movie seems barely do justice to their stories. the Williams sister endorsed it so maybe it's a love letter to their parents not for fans

不管人物讨不讨喜，确实是真实呈现了世界级运动明星的一段侧写。虽然看完觉得真的是靠大小V姐妹无敌的天赋，让老爸再怎么霍霍也最终还是成功了。will smith值得小金人，完全本色出演toxic masculinity。让人思考他在Oscar上的表现是还没出戏，还是电影本身的延续 ：）
这么说不是因为他培养出了两个网球女王，而是他在认识到女儿们的天赋在这个世界上的价值的同时，更充分认识到这种天赋之于女儿们人生的极限，所以他固执地坚守着自己的原则，哪怕起初连女儿都无法理解，直到当她们自己需要面对外界时，才明白老父亲教会自己的不仅仅是球技，更是构筑自己生活堡垒的心技。
固执却有信念，培养出两个世界第一是多么不容易，拍的太平淡了，最后的比赛也没有很精彩
屠狗太过分了必须扣一星以表愤怒，微笑着听对方讲话并附议“好有趣哦”当然对谁都奏效，洪尚秀真是大俗人。不过结尾金敏喜那个微妙的神情，也是对秀恩爱的一种讥讽？夸有灵感的人、貌美的人、有才华和天赋的人，平庸之辈不值一提，他们的嫉妒也要直接忽视——好残忍的一个视角啊。
6项奥斯卡提名，无比契合当今的奥斯卡口味，各种拿奖buff叠满了，不给史皇个影帝都说不过去，况且对比卷福和加菲，我更喜欢史皇这次的发挥，他这次的表演也更合奥斯卡的口味，赌一把影史第四位奥斯卡黑人影帝！曾经有过打网球的经历，所以比赛段落情绪都很带动，除此之外就是稳扎稳打的美式政治正确，很难说它不好看，每个点转折点都准准踩到了经典套路上，但就是说，很难能带来惊喜，不过看之前也大概预知了质量如何，也算是大差不差。
感觉一切都得到的太容易，全程金手指，没有触动
也很喜欢Serena和父亲Richard赛场后的那场戏，着墨不多，但是非常非常有必要
那么多冠军的比赛，不选择，就选择了输掉的那场。希望我的女儿能看到。
就这？威尔史密斯靠这部得奖，跟当年桑德拉布洛克靠弱点得奖，有啥区别吗？都不是职业生涯中最展现演技的作品，只是对多年工作的一个奖励罢了！看来对于很多好莱坞演员来说，他们的演技也只能寄托内部排排坐食果果的奥斯卡了，欧洲三大或是再专业一点的奖是没指望了！一个普信男，靠着老婆的基因、老婆没日没夜地打工挣钱、纠正小女儿的错误打球法，最后换来的一句却是，没有我，你和你那三个没爸爸的女儿还住在贫民窟呢！啊！男人总是知道如何伤害女人！女儿成功了，做父亲的怎么吹牛逼都有人愿意听愿意信呢，可是女人不生孩子，他屁都没有，还78页的计划呢！很好奇原始剧本是什么样的，如果这就是原始剧本的话，我确实没看出剧本黑名单的特质呢！2021年了，好莱坞居然更爹系了！这个世上有无爹，对女性和孩子，都是一种摧残呢！
真的好无聊，不如直接做个ppt梳理一下大小威的时间线。角度选得刁钻但做得很失败，既没有把理查德刻画得特别好，也浪费了大小威，真就是唯一的好就是威尔史密斯的表演了。奥斯卡影帝揽入囊中了。

我不知道和真实有多少出入，电影里的大小威她爸简直是个讨厌鬼，固执控制欲卸磨杀驴，所以我没法打高分。
体育励志片确实美国人拍得热血，当然商业痕迹也很明显了。说起来是Richard为主角但总感觉Venus占了一大部分。应该更多展现Richard的决心和内心吧。说到商业痕迹，将Richard塑造如此，确实有美化嫌疑，体育片都有这个问题。是否可以期待一下小威的传记片？
当成体育明星的传记片看，会收获失望。影片的重点是刻画一位带有瑕疵、偏执而又自负、坚持的父亲。与《摔跤吧，爸爸》对看，都加入了阶层（肤色）差异带来的现实审视，这部更强调明星父母的心理变化和斗争。
中规中矩的传记剧情 看到久违的威尔史密斯出演美版《摔跤吧爸爸》总是带着极高的期待 《当幸福来敲门》的那些感动在本片变成了冗长的剧情 没有运动励志的热血与激情 时间线在推进时没有标志性事件 父亲这个角色也不够立体真实 那些坚持似乎都是没来由的异想天开 叙事节奏和对白也没有足够交代好整个电影的基调
