剧情介绍

The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances.     基本就是科幻内核下的文艺片，对情感的细腻刻画让人为之动容，如果作为小说，算是那种初看不算惊艳，但细细品味之下让人掩卷思考良多的精品短片，全片没有什么太多的起伏，转折，以及戏剧冲突，有的是对家庭对爱人对人生的思考，格局确实不大， 但真真切切的能人每个拥有家庭情感的普通人去代入去思考，作为一部科幻片，很多人是存在刻板印象的，比如探讨家暴的《隐形人》探讨人工智能和仿生人的《机械姬》《升级》，都包含了大量动作惊悚悬疑类型元素，而这部片恰恰避开了这些，让人沉下心来，随着主角一起慢慢学会放手。
