The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 鉴于当下好莱坞编剧导演集体大脑崩坏的现状，拍这种剧情简单舒缓温馨的影片是个不错的选择，不会过多暴露复杂剧本压力下编剧导演的无能，也不用顾忌太多电影外的因素，全片基本就一个人类演员，不用担心被指责没有女金刚没有黑人涉嫌骑士，能让人三心二意的把两个小时的电影看下去还有点儿小感动，不反智不喂屎，这已经知足了。

虽然情节、设定背景都平淡且老套的很，但它还是能一步步把你引入陷进让你泪流不已。

法庭开始非常精彩；很多社会和人性角度的思考，有破有立；印度社会能有这些反思还是蛮厉害的，300年colonisation功不可没。结尾有点仓促，瑕不掩瑜。

究其电影艺术本身并不能匹配豆瓣8.6的高分，无论从叙事、结构、表演、剪辑、推进、节奏与反转上都乏善可陈。可它赢就赢在了内容，题材的强大拯救了电影的同时也封住了几乎所有人挑剔的嘴巴（包括但不限于我）。没什么可说的，不想说也不能说什么，现实的生活可能比电影更加不堪。把两句台词送给大家共勉吧，感觉足够。「此刻你的沉默，就是他们行凶的通行证！」「在正义面前，永远没有少数服从多数的原则！」（其实能拍出这样电影的国家，挺可怕的！！！）
最幸福的竟然是固特异这个汪星人，杰夫胸口留了一个电动狗罐头开罐器，太骚了🤣
权游处理特效的方式，特效重头戏都放在开头40分钟的基地。那人，那机器人，那狗。
这么一来，拍这么一部电影，不光不会被封杀，还有可能专门拨款助力向全世界推广呢。
流水账似的煽情片，缺少故事渐进和铺垫，每个角色都脸谱化了。

可以剪的更好看。
科幻不是重点，重点在讲人的生命与存在。借用一句海子的诗：“活在这珍贵的人间，太阳强烈，水波温柔。”能感受世界，是人之于机器的区别，也是机器迈向真正生命的开端。故事舒缓平静，也确实乏味了些。
