The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? Just generally a really good movie if you like independent cinema.

无法忍受这种一个场景讲完整部电影的文本对话，根本就浪费了电影形式本身优势，甚至还凸显了其对大段文本表现的缺点，无法被观众快速吸收，无法停下来思考，只能囫囵吞枣的带过。这根本不需要导演，也不需要演员，不如出个短篇小说，或者这本就是将历史记录照抄上了银幕。
