The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 机长原型说她看了这部戏101次，它没有让人沉溺在悲伤里喘不过气。自始至终靠的是人性本身的脆弱、敏感、真实和温暖在打动观众。911过去了二十年，但人类还是有点希望的，不是吗？
偶然翻阅截图相册，发现疫情前期已有小道消息说剧组要来华巡演，那时的期待如歌曲本身一般昂扬热切。孤岛壁垒被打破，大洋之上是平等众生共同奏响的波西米亚狂想曲，灯光汇聚每一角落，借由新时代流媒，远渡重洋的温暖故事，在这个似乎重蹈覆辙的严冬给人以鼓舞。
这种灾难背后，芸芸众生所呈现的善意和温暖，怎能让人不喜欢。
如果只歌颂牺牲、付出和伟大，不歌颂个体、爱和自由，人的意义又在哪里得到区分。
12名演员，演出了120个人同台的架势，太喜欢女机长！
有可能不太能欣赏这种一直高频歌唱的歌舞剧，911背景下依然没有感到感动，个人角度。

“humanity”是我看这部音乐剧能想到的一个词。2000年的9.11，我正值小学，放学回家的傍晚，家里电视开着，爸妈在电视机前目瞪口呆，电视上滚动播出美国世贸大厦被飞机撞击的新闻画面，虽然才小学，但那个画面此生难忘。911不仅改变了美国，二十年后看，911还改变了整个世界。以经历911一天的人作为对象的整部音乐剧非常好看。
很圆滑，很有趣，群像整得相当好，节奏调度相当好。就是我对合家欢大团圆的这类型剧没啥感觉
第一看这种类型的音乐剧，没有经典音乐剧耳熟能详、令人心潮澎湃的唱段，也没有《汉密尔顿》《Six》那样流行得抓耳又抓眼，扣准现代大众审美，相比之下它的故事铺开得有点平淡写实，但这样的节奏和画面又并不无趣。
