Filming has begun for Us, BBC One’s four-part drama adapted by David Nicholls from his hugely popular novel of the same name.
Tom Hollander (Baptiste, The Night Manager) will be joined by Saskia Reeves (Luther, Shetland), Sofie Gråbøl (The Killing, Fortitude), Tom Taylor (Doctor Foster, The Dark Tower), Iain De Caestecker (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, The Fades) and Thaddea Graham (Curfew, The Letter for the King), with casting by Sarah Crowe. It is produced by Drama Republic and Bandstand Productions.
Douglas Petersen (Tom Hollander) is blindsided when his wife Connie (Saskia Reeves) tells him that she’s not sure she wants to be married to him anymore. Agreeing to still go on their planned family grand tour of Europe, Douglas vows to win back the love of his wife and repair his troubled relationship with their son Albie (Tom Taylor).
Reflecting David Nicholls' signature mix of humour and heartbreak, Us brings the Petersens' poignant and often hilarious story to life, taking viewers with them on their once-in-a-lifetime journey through some of the most beautiful cities in the world.

It is directed by Lisa Siwe (Temple, Modus) and distributed internationally by BBC Studios. Filming will take place in London, Amsterdam, Venice, Barcelona and Paris.

cry in confusion。我哭是因为我看电影好哭，而这部就是专门煽情。困惑是因为它也太一般了，太平庸了，评委们把它写在第一位feel good是吧？就像绿皮书一样，我们挑一个少数人群里的天才讲ta感人的成功故事，这样会让我们感觉特别好，特别善良。但这还不如绿皮书呢我的天，你不说我以为是八九十年代电视电影，小时候在电影频道看完连名字都记不得的那种。

少女小渔的伯克利音乐学院梦想达成记。没有理查德国王的天才少女培养计划书 ，她却凭天赋，机遇，以及家里爱的气氛，趟出新人生路。全片节奏舒畅，演出自然，同类青春成长题材的佼佼者。
美式青春片的包装在这个电影的改编上很成功，也同时吊高了我的性质，开始全片就像走在悬崖边上一样，充斥着一种油腻的可爱，一切都在于我知道你这在做什么太多了不用处处都是但是还是好真诚啊的冒险的兴奋感之中。原版的基底设置为故事提供了许多不一样的写法，令得电影本身是耐看的，外加稍显不同的表现手法也都使得这部电影与众不同，只不过这一切都没有在后半程满足我对于本作的冒险之心，歌声部分是高开低走的，人物部分也是高开低走的，尤其争吵+和好的家庭片必经历程的节奏感做得不算太好，整体又回到了一种“小”片的感觉。
我实在是太喜欢原版了，所以重点关注的是美版的本土化修改：渔夫比农夫身份的不便更多了，冲突升级；竞选的戏份删除了，妈妈的美沦为了性的笑料；老师的人设也不饱满了，教私课的动机不那么充分。好在最后的那首歌有含蓄的美，不过法版对于M. Sardou的致敬更添感动。
3.越来越讨厌豆瓣那些专业的评价体系
现在看什么好莱坞电影都觉得太模式化了，我怕是有什么大病。全片看完就是一部很工整的美利坚主旋律电影，颁奖季少不了这种类型的。
在大众文化这个受市场操控的环境里，数据的多少代表着经验正在操控人们的认知。流行音乐、速食电影和快餐文学往往以最常见的形式与我们见面，让我们将正常和不正常从表面上做出区分。但是黑天鹅总将会出现，将会展示同样的爱和激情。关于障碍人士的电影，正在以一种不同的视角来展示同样的东西。
美国独立制作卷土重来。梦想与现实的俗套题材碰上了听障残疾群体，大大超越了原本的励志意味。透过女主角这个联系弱势群体与正常社会的纽带角色，一边展示出听障人士的生存困境，一边暗示了亲情羁绊的重要性。剧本不回避对人性自私的刻画，反而令人物更显真实，更凸显亲情的宝贵。好几幕利用声音的情节（父母出席音乐会时消音、父亲摸着女儿声带听唱歌、女儿边打手语边唱歌）犹如神来之笔，催泪效果十足。

属于实在找不到电影看了才会点开看的那一种，因为会很害怕肉麻的感觉。好在本片不止令人肉麻感动，其实更多的是清新自然，甚至有好几处能让人笑出声来
#Now i look at love from both sides#没看过原作，但这是一部多么温暖的治愈系电影啊，没有矫揉造作的灯光、特效，自然的场景，真实的生活，有哭有笑有心酸有不解有释放有开始有告别，关于爱关于成长，这个世界还是会好的。
我原想补番，借着午睡休息，但是哭的稀里哗啦。
呀，感觉捕捉到了这个聋哑家庭生活的不易和不同，点缀许多令人同情的细节与令人心知是善良的东西。不过电影本身还是偏向于电视电影，有些青春成长的味道。
show not tell. 缓慢温柔的电影。突然发现下周末我就要去剧中的那个地方去钓鱼。
好看的，背景改成渔业也很自然。但歌真的不如法版，打手语的那首歌和Je vole的情感渲染力不在一个水平上。“你总是知道自己是谁”
另一种原生家庭的成长故事，显然这样的脱离和成长更打动人，当然就算是套路但依然止不住地喜欢，毕竟这个世界已经够糟糕了，难道就不能干一口鸡汤吗？况且成色也不差。
