The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 真没意思 几个我最喜欢的动画制作人一起制作了一部很平庸的作品 剧情实在是太老套了 这就是一个人鱼公主的原型加上了幼稚的日式少年热血甚至还有些克苏鲁元素的拼凑之作 跑酷部分并没有让人特别满意还是略显僵硬 整部作品最稳定发挥的还是泽野弘之的配乐 要是这几位大师一起制作出的还是这样的作品 这不正好应证了痞子说的“业界药丸”了吗哈哈哈
多个长镜头太出彩了。厕所内外墙的分隔，观众也直到后处才能看到下半身。医院别人的抢救失败是女主内心的外化又是强烈对比。轮椅起雾起舞很美，魂归故里时特别《伊比利亚的派对》。问题出在故事的衔接有瑕疵。
女主遭遇“死亡”的时刻。从阴间飘来的水中女尸与现实里水面倒影中的自己遥遥相望，这一情境使得结尾女主能够再次回家见到健康的父母，不是以闪回的形式，而确实是再次相见。而最后女主独自在自己房间（空间区隔世界）换衣服的时候意识清醒过来，既是时钟停止的时刻（阴间），也是时钟开始的时刻（阳间），这或许可以使片名多一份理解，来处是归途，或者归途是来处。里面蕴含的无不是在人们生老病死的工厂式流程（一是老人的背景都是工厂的工人，二是女主在医院亲历生命的死亡）下真挚的生命（🐻）与情感。
