A brilliant and outragously funny satire of society, 7 December 1999

"Flodder" is one of the funniest movies ever made and few people realise that it is a Dutch movie made by none other than the Holland version of John Carpenter, the famous Dick Maas, author and director of the thriller "Amsterdamned". The Flodder family is the reincarnation of the term a-social. When the whole family bunch, basically all bastards, criminals and sluts must be relocated from their City slum because of toxic waste under their house, the city council house no choice. The only available space is in the "Zoendal" - the "Sun Valley" the best area in Amsterdam where all doctors, snobs and businessmen can afford to live their lives. And where the central point of interest and politics is the tennis club of the community. The Flodder family brings devastation to the tranquil world that ruled before. They are simply unbelievable. The characterisation is incredibly funny, beginning with Ma Flodder who searches other people's trash cans for food or making illegal liquor in her cellar and ending with the eldest daughter who is the biggest slut on earth. Together they make the most horrible family imaginable, a sort of immoral mirror image to the Brady Bunch or the Waltons. When the City counsel of Amsterdam hoped that the Flodders would show their good will to be more civilised in their new area, it turns out that Holland's most famous family would rather bring out the worst in the rich people of "Sun Valley"-wonderland. The rest is a hilarious, brilliant and well made social satire that can be watched as a provocative movie as well as a straightforward comedy. Dick Maas at his best. I salute him! Flooder was the Dutch smash hit in 1986 and brought two sequels and a tv series. All of the sequels were nice but not as great as the original.

Why is First Floor Features, the producer of the movie not bringing the Dick Maas blockbusters out on DVD in the Netherlands, I wonder. The are not even available on video there. These movies have so much potential, still to this day and have a huge silent but true following.
信教的和不信的、了解背景的和不了解的看这部片感受应该不同，单纯作为一部影片一个故事来看，情节合适、不沉闷不沉重不太严肃深刻，提供的信息足够了解Tammy的一生，看起来她热爱神喜爱人、有才华有野心又坚强，她老公是需要她助力、驱动却又不甘于此的双？女主表演很到位，唱的很好，妆造的功劳也很大，相比之下男主看起来一直一样，“反派”看脸没认出来，但听他讲话瞬间回到“金并”。//关于婚姻的那段对话太现实，女人在婚姻中想做妻子而不是母亲，需要男人做丈夫而不是儿子，但是男人常常是个男孩，会对需要成长为男人这件事感到压力和委屈，最终双方皆疲惫。
我会想到《圣母》，都是真正相信“神”的人，她的信心感染了大家，但欲望也是会裹上“神”的外衣。值得看一看
全方位和《里卡多一家》撞梗，流水账历史传记小作文，只拍出来狗血天真，背后的文化影响一笔带过，素材的鸡枞还不如给网飞拍个纪录片，加菲就像一个小老太太，只能劳模姐特写撑着
ummmm冲奥片，为啥加菲全程看起来就跟个智商不高的高中生一样
当然是讽刺，电影分寸感其实不错，这就是新教，这就是美国。新教或美国就是表演型人格障碍精神病院。
劳模姐的表演绝对值得一座小金人，在这部电影里，你完全找不出她在以往作品的表演痕迹，一点都找不出。再加上出色的特效妆，我真的会恍惚这个到底是Jessica还是Tammy。
#TIFF2021# 应该是Jessica Chastain最接近影后的一次演绎，果然这种biopic最能展现演员的能力，惊喜的是“加菲”经过剧场的锻炼这次的爆发力好了很多。电影看上去是四平八稳的传记，但是Tammy Faye 身上的复杂性，与Christianity在美国如何渗透以及影响重大的历史变革，形成了一种奇妙的allegory。不论她最后是怎么走向LGBT activist的道路的（访谈的这段戏太棒了），Tammy Faye终究是一个因信仰而“失明”，却也因信仰而获得信念的女性，她身上的power和powerlessness可能也是她双眼中的光芒与矛盾之所在。
影评首页一些影视公号频繁出现的:拜金，红利，塌房，骗局，美国梦……似乎把女主和那一水微商和娱乐圈outcast简单的就画上等号。作为观影指南如此肤浅真的好吗？塔米菲现象和这部电影估计不是特别遭待见和在特定范围内讨论，但是它应该激起更深层的思考，而不是只看到八卦公号那样的谁家又塌了。
7分，影片最后的1/4才感觉有了魂，前面就像在看纪实文学，导演有点软，浪费了劳模姐的演技，这个演技不值一个奥斯卡吗我滴乖乖太会演了，加菲被比的快没了。加菲的演技问题在于演谁都是一个青春靓丽大男孩，说白了就是他自己，这个角色其实不太适合他。今年虽然他也提名（倒数时刻）了，但我觉得是这个角色适合他而已。
劳模姐需要一个奥斯卡～应该是今年最佳女主角有力竞争者：天真/好胜/对LGBTQ群体的同情心以及跌落神坛再起的人生被演绎得淋漓尽致～加菲作为男配有前半部好戏，后半段被不够老年感的妆造拖了后腿（不过同性恋倾向确实演出来了是水平）劳模姐唱歌好好听呀
陪1.3米以下的儿子打卡，从剧情来看，前期压制后期爆发，这就是儿童爽剧吧～

那个年代保守派基督教女性另一种面向。影片营造的浮夸感开始会令人生疑，到最后经历过身心的跌宕，能够确定Tammy始终坚定并真诚地相信上帝爱众人。Jessica的表演非常投入，要好运啊！
剧情很有意思，但是拍得非常寡淡，除了劳模姐的演技。
对这种特型化妆的流水账名人传记毫无好感 劳模多段高难度的表演是唯一的意义
题材是有东西挖的，但剧本实在太烂，还不如拍纪录片。
宗教诈骗集团的发展与倒台。最后为了证明宗教的“清白”还搞了一场主旋律的戏。劳模姐演技赞，简直换了个人，另外大腮帮子妆笑起来特别喜庆，说明要煽动人心讨喜的面相真的挺重要。
谭米妃的眼影，特效化妆🪞，典型的冲奥片，不会难看的，劳模姐和加菲演的都很不错，但是匠气很重。看完查了查原型人物，加菲演的那个老公竟然最近还在作妖，还被密苏里告，真是大开眼界。PS Hi-pointe的decor真棒啊，一盏灯都能让我看半天，太有古味儿了！ Sep 19 2021 at Hi-pointe
故事逻辑很像《大雄和白金饭店》，但是更加凌乱，有点像是在致敬星战系列，但也只是浅尝辄止，如果没有特色还去呼唤爱与和平，就会沦为比较一般的说教
劳模姐的演技太棒了完全值得奥斯卡影后。影片本身脚本一般般，没有深挖tammy faye的内心世界，纯靠劳模姐把一个又天真又神棍，又脆弱又顽强的复杂角色演绎出来。
