I guess the idea behind it was for liberated women to go into a high street store and buy it without any type of guilt or inhibition , but no doubt the main buyer market was teenage boys and dirty old men
THE LOVERS GUIDE is groundbreaking in the fact that it publicised that the couples involved were real life partners but this is slightly dishonest , yes the main couple featured Wendy and her husband were indeed a real life couple who'd been married several years but there was some public controversy that at least one of the couples Kathryn ( The gorgeous brunette ) and Marino ( The well buffed geezer with a ponytail ) had never met one another until they appeared on set where they had unprotected sex for the camera . For a video that self righteously dedicates segments to safe sex it is rather hypocritical
Seeing as it's for education purposes and not pornography as such there's limits as to what can be shown but as a sex education video it's not uninformative though I doubt if you'll be gasping " I never knew that "
As a footnote the main couple featured became something of sexual problem agony aunts in the British press - Until it was revealed that Wendy's husband had a serious heart condition which put a stop to sex . I almost felt sorry for this couple who confessed that they used to make love as often as ten times a day but now couldn't make love once a day because it was too dangerous . My small amount of sympathy soon vanished when shortly afterwards the couple split up and raced off to the gutter press in order to dish the dirt on one another to the highest bidder .

20211205-cinemark theater-扎实的起承转合，无功无过，也许是因为真实改编，所以颇为动人。在废墟里看星星——每当看到这样的场景就想起《平凡的世界》里在废墟读书的孙少平，《女心理师》在堕落环境里寻求改变读书的贺顿，是这些信念成就了这些人，环境也无法毁灭这些信念。
中规中矩、政治正确的电影。大小威两位演员有点神似。大小威比同时代女网球运动员的职业生涯更长，不知是否和理查德不让大小威参加青少年比赛有关系。
相当励志，理查德相当有眼光，及拥有全面大局观，估计他整天都是为女儿着想，当然中途他陷入自我膨胀，不过有家人和教练帮他走出来，如果能更多焦点放入大威和小威心路历程变化就更好了
还行，体育运动片儿里也就还行，放全部片儿就更还行。
故事来说没什么劲，但大小V的传奇人生一定是震撼了。 他们的球技不是很懂，但他们的爸爸一定是打了一手进退皆可的好球了。 少数篇幅有提到爸爸的偏执，但表达的并不好，感觉是为了政治正确删掉了特别多反面的情节，并没有很立得住。

真实传记好看，但我也挺想多看看小威的镜头和故事。
interesting angle..but sports are all about the winning spirit, passion, obsession..just not feeling the excitement..the father/coach figure, if only it did a decent job as Dangal. such an inspiring journey, this movie seems barely do justice to their stories. the Williams sister endorsed it so maybe it's a love letter to their parents not for fans
开场将近半小时后才迟迟见到小威第一次比赛场上的挥拍制胜，那种兴奋感是身体在场与人对抗的直观反馈，眼前一亮又转瞬无踪。作为拍摄网坛巨星的传记片，传递不出丝毫运动的美感和激情，只剩下学院片一贯冲奖的谄媚嘴脸。

有这么个自大偏执控制狂的父亲真是惨，最后成功只是恰好女儿真的有天赋罢了。
其实，是不是大威小威小时候的传记，已经不重要了。因为本片不叫《大威小威传》，它叫《国王理查德》。
目前7.3太低了，拍得挺走心，有趣，享受就对了
活人的传记片不好拍啊，处处流露出怕被找麻烦的谨慎。三星半。比摔爸更深刻和进步一点，但也没有令人难忘的台词和桥段。

3.5 真实里大威小威的事迹亦是整个体育传奇，时间早就证明了~
投机取巧，出卖女儿，偷奸耍滑老黑坑了白人教练。制造噱头搅局奥屎卡，最佳男黑角。呸！老美是否只剩黑绿同才能公映？正常电影，全部腰斩咔嚓？
比近几年的几部都好一些，幽默感大增所以观影很愉快，加上夹带很多洪导自身状态的私货，看得时候时常被逗乐，感觉是洪导和金敏喜最近状态的自嘲。当然还是少不了聊天喝酒抽烟以及翻来覆去地夸金敏喜，夸得人翻白眼。对，这次有彩色的金敏喜了以及一大波狗粮砸头，就问你酸不酸爽。
固执却有信念，培养出两个世界第一是多么不容易，拍的太平淡了，最后的比赛也没有很精彩
