The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 哭崩溃了……对rent无感的我，却在这两个小时里不断被rent的每个人物每个情节冲击。roger，mark，angel，mimi……他纪念了他们每一个人，他们永在。

即使剧情老套而鸡汤而且舞台剧风格还是太明显，但这完美的音乐和加菲惊艳的表演还是不免让人忘却一切缺点。拥抱音乐与感动

全片唯一高潮似乎就是桑德海姆的“到场“，音乐剧电影拍成剧情和歌曲完全不相融，精心设计出的歌词与画面的“同步”无法带来任何情感上的共鸣。不触及90年代真实的政治氛围、不展现舞台艺术在LGBT文化运动中的先锋性质，就永远无法正确地驱魔，没有记忆何来克服，只有浮于表面的致敬。
他英年早逝，并且他成功了，不然还是“往长远看”好一些吧，毕竟这种在做好年华绽放出最灿烂烟花的人，只属于那几百万分之一
很喜欢这部里关于友情和爱情的一些美好与不圆满，比男主本身的创作经历更吸引人
编剧真的很暖，从剧集时期只是隐隐表现出来对Thomas的善意，到了这一次毫不掩饰的给Thomas安排了一个美好的未来。大小姐最后送Thomas的那句话真的是太好哭了。

就是音乐剧卡司的群星闪耀吧，电影部分其实有点平庸
富贵大宅子，各有烦心事，一团乐呵呵，送别老贵婆。
塑造了纽约氛围下的艺术殉道者，让底层的人们感同身受。一份食物，10块钱，一个订单，就能让他们开心很久。音乐与生活同样丰富，五味杂陈的感觉。
