The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 美墨边境风光养眼，东木老爷看起来身体状态也不错，就是剧作没有最大化利用好创意，太过依赖对白而缺少画面的动态；情节的设计也缺点意思，比如那只公鸡原本可以更多参与到故事中来。

看评分以为扑街了，看到一半两星预定，全看下来又觉得也没那么糟糕...还是逃不掉对东木的粉丝滤镜。

看的版本不对，翻译的中文太烂，不过情节整体也不太好看。
感觉就是披着亚当斯一家的设定外皮，内里还是合家欢的迪士尼式家庭喜剧，完全没了真人版的那种独特了。
