In 1865, during the siege of Richmond, Virginia, the union soldiers POW Captain Harding, Neb and Herbert escape in a balloon during a storm with two confederate prisoners, Sergeant Pencroft and the journalist Spilett. The uncontrollable wind takes the balloon to a mysterious island in the South Pacific in the area of New Zealand. Captain Harding self-proclaims the leader of the group and they look for food; sooner they discover that they are stranded in an island. Further, they are attacked by a giant crab that becomes their first meal. Along the days, they build a shelter and finds that the island is inhabited by giant animals. A couple of days later, they find two castaways on the beach, the aristocratic Lady Mary Fairchild and her sexy niece Elena. Later they find a trunk with weapons and instruments like sextant and shelter with a journal of a man left alone in the island by pirates. When the pirate vessel arrives in the island, they are helped by Captain Nemo of the Nautilus, a submarine that had supposedly sunk in the coast of Mexico eight years ago. 蛋生。大话西游里的黑山老妖长得像那个老狐狸精。
1.片尾联合导演的采访很有意思，老先生说因为是和BBC合作所以可以搞笑。2.动画存在的意义，就是超越真人实拍的想象力啊！3.中国式盗火传说，这个故事的叛逆感不比姜子牙少哦，看看人家的完成度！
我觉得小时候应该看过，但确实记不得了，不知道是不是当时被吓到或者怎样……其实中国动画就应该这样，很有自己的特点，无论是故事还是绘画。层层递进地故事情节丝毫不会让人觉得无聊，每一层毫无拖沓。

作为一个80后，小时候没看过，现在回过头来看，根本看不进去啊！远不如《葫芦娃》和《大闹天宫》精彩！
美术设计太过精致好看，剧情细节也是太传统和太中国的，八十年代有这种动画而现在呢。
他们为了对方如此拼搏，我真的泪目了家人们。
各种中国元素的造型设计太棒了。人物设计都挺有趣儿，师徒、衙役、县太爷、小皇帝。本身的文本解读空间也非常大，结尾戛然而止本身也也蕴含极大的对无可撼动的天庭的批判。聚宝盆出现的许多爸爸惊悚。有关剧情的几个疑问：1.为什么天书被刻了下来不直接毁掉？2.为什么设置为蛋生并未打败狐妖，而是师傅下来帮忙？师傅被抓走之后呢？蛋生会被天庭允许存在吗？
中国版普罗米修斯，讽刺统治阶级的力作，上美影的巅峰出品。

下完了以后看了~非常好。
小时候一直觉得这个会有续集的，2021年终于看了4K版本的完整故事，也算是补全了一个缺憾吧。
要说缺陷可能只是叙事上还不够绵密，像寺院的情节就有损节奏。在说资源在权力层级链条中的流动，各个叙述单元的视觉表现都很出色，尤其皇帝的形象，表达力度相比《姜子牙》这样更新的电影可见一斑，大概从这里逐渐形成中国动画怪诞甚至偏暗黑的审美趣味（比如被轧断腿、狐妖盗取天书后的乱舞）。
小时候看过，画得很精致，记得仙法要用于人间，为人类谋幸福，还要当心被坏人利用。
