The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it?     摄影美术太精美了，令人陶醉，成功构筑了一个瑰丽的亚瑟王时代。整个故事塞了众多奇幻神话情节，但结尾一段成功让叙事摆脱执着于“奇幻构建”与“隐喻设计”的创作欲望，把故事从悬浮缥缈拽回到一个男孩精神成长史诗，很有力道，发人深省。片中短发的和深V的艾丽西亚都好美。本片也让我第一次成功get到戴夫帕特尔。
