The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? With a keen eye and fresh take, Aselton’s directorial debut shines with crisp storytelling and fine-tuned performances. 悉尼电影节SFF第3场，后半段节奏就有点奇怪了，前面很不错，画面视听也很好，女巫在人世间走一遭，体会人间的极悲与极乐。

记忆连同尊严一起一点点被吞噬的感觉，真是令人绝望
还可以 脑回路挺清奇的 其实是个女性成长片
这个女巫牛呀，男女老少的人生都体验了一遍。
一开始觉得女主演技有些过于夸张 看到后面还是被感染到不行 太痛苦了 以及有一个让我难过的点是 电影里的男人会停下脱裤子的手 而现实呢？我甚至不敢想象现实中的父亲会怎么做……

女巫的成长，逐渐学会爱人，感受到被爱，也感受到失去。
导演对生命与人生的探讨其实没有什么新奇的方面 最但最厉害的地方就是他用了一个女巫的视角来呈现一切 女巫的生命是无限的 他可以变成任何他想成为的人甚至是动物 所以在无限的生命中女巫最有资格审查人生与生命
她是万物，她永远在流淌。
真实的病痛，记忆的丧失是在掏空一个人。健康太重要了。
到最后遇到真爱之人，成为无坚不摧的母亲，那同样人生经历“我这一生过得惘然，而未曾见过美好”的女巫嫉妒而愤怒吼“为何这一切对你就这么容易？”
有复杂的主题（可惜整个表达没太打动我）和奇异的美感，叙事上其实也可圈可点。
生命的虚无淹没了我，不如让我像witch mama一样死去。
竟然不是《生命之树》的导演，风格好像，我还想说这个导演终于拍了一部我能看懂的片子…
当我们死去后，会不会以另一幅面孔而接着存活呢！而骨子里或多或少残存着些许上辈子的性情与特质呢？
这应该就是暗黑版童话故事吧。如果是格林兄弟，会不会把这个改编成另一个世界名著童话故事呢。
太神奇的感受，太喜欢这种气质。我们Félix照旧是脆弱大狗……好喜欢……导演很会调教人呃呃（欣赏）
