前半小时很有灵性，让我对这个作品的兴趣猛然提升。但后面两个半小时，我本应选择去读小说。好奇是这个故事本身太复杂，还是这个剪辑过乱。 ps：汤姆希林为什么一直这么帅？！

在省博聽紅樓夢解說的時候，解說員先說到胡適先生的派別，後又說到王國維先生的派別。她說王國維先生認為悲劇有三種。
视觉风格强烈影音呈现出彩，加上Tom schilling本人自带的忧郁气质和影片基调相辅相成。最大的缺点就是太长，分为几天看完，明白导演对于这部电影在叙事和摄影上想追求一些特立独行的个人概念，纪录片的纪实性和文艺片的荒诞感杂糅，本来只想打三颗星，看完结尾加一颗。最后男女之间爱情相互纠缠与守望的撕裂也确实很动人。Ps：活着是无力的，唯有死亡可以力挽狂澜。
1931年的柏林，作家法比安的一生。
三小时的体量终于能够承载一个超越故事本身的表达了，自传带来的厚重感无疑是对唐诺的最好回击。
前半个小时太吃力了，人又多，职位有多，名字复杂，语速飞快，表示跟不上，不适合我的电影。
颓废的生活，他遇见了她。然而他失业了，朋友自杀了，她也无奈的选择了生存。还有一线希望，他们约会了，他却意外离开了。她一直都在等着他。。。
电影颇为漫长，布景、服化道这些都十分得古典，甚至用了4:3这样的经典画幅，但拍摄手法上却十分得现代，感觉是要有意去呈现出那个时代下特有的时代风格，并将导演个人的批判全部融入到男主的多见多闻中，再结合当今的时代，多少觉得导演是有在隐喻当今的世界吧。
法比安一定得死。从第一次拒绝夫人开始，他就必须得死。他太挑剔，自尊心作祟，口味太挑剔就得饿肚子。
故事发生在1931年8月，当时德国经济崩溃，纳粹势力将在1932年崛起。纳粹思想已经开始燎原。男主名叫雅各布，却喜欢别人称他的姓，这里可能暗示他是犹太人。最后一个镜头他的笔记被焚可能也是呼应他是犹太人。当时还未迫害犹太人，只是喊"德国觉醒"。最后法比安淹死，柯内莉亚在咖啡馆如约等候着和法比安新的开始。可又有什么新的开始呢？你以为这够糟糕了吗？德国后面还有二战呢...三个小时的情节很丰富，但是黑白片的插入、古老的旁白、莫名其妙的闪回让我有些不耐烦。汤姆希林的忧郁气质把我摁在椅子里，他抽烟太多咯。和科内利亚的相遇压马路，短暂相恋还是很甜，穷到骨子里但是很甜。性欲强烈、老鸨、富婆莫尔和法比安的几次相遇，看得出来大姐还是相当喜欢弟弟，但每次都被拒绝。法比安和母亲不约而同悄悄给对方塞下20块钱的情节很温暖。

75/100 几乎没有任何技法则是最大的技巧，极简而又纯粹的编排：一间屋子，一群纳粹领导，高浓度对白，充斥着愿景、公民法、为国奋斗等冠冕堂皇的话语，却讨论着如何清洗整个欧洲的犹太人。
“我会为你破例，我会爱上你，但我对你的感觉与你无关。好了，现在我饿了。”我们要珍惜能和爱人散步亲吻的机会，毕竟在伟大的时代洪流中，这些矜贵的瞬间都是我们与无数的阴差阳错擦肩而过才得到的片刻。

文学叙事电影，各种闪切、手持、广播、信件式表达。就是片长时长有点长，观看门槛拉升了。台词写得太好了！

本来是柏林场刊评分最高的作品，一年以来的热度一直却很低，整部看下来实际上是很累的，形式新颖但却繁琐，故事内容也很压抑，内卷人内卷人啊。
就像是克拉考尔社会学著作的电影版本，混乱的熵增导向疯狂的张力，事件变为即将到来之物。通过介于历史先锋主义以及Dogma95的主观视角祛除了有失真实的史诗光环，还原为一种正在经历的激进“此在”。《法》不是政治史，而是精神史，在高度分裂的影像碎片之中，影片的开场却以一个历史时间的长镜头宣告了巴赞摄影现实主义的终结，又在动线上与结尾的“下降”相对——作为对幻觉机制的进入和退出
