The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 簡單來說就是 911大背景下的微觀群像，除了歌頌團結之類的普遍道德之外也不吝著墨於racist gender之類的沖突，其實是挺典的美式主旋律不過真誠得足夠打動人心😭好想去甘德看看

不苦情、不沉重，大量的美式笑话让人忍俊不禁。但笑着看完，却哭着回忆，百老汇的这波美式正能量，我先干为敬。

我以为911题材会很沉重，但很积极很快乐啊，有细节有思考，转换很流畅，女机长太帅了。人与人之间的善意好治愈。
2021上映，刚好在疫情期间，又是“911”20周年，演出这样一幕剧再合适不过。来自不同地方讲着不同语言的人，因为怀有同样的普遍的人类的情感而得以相聚相惜。
太好哭了。不论来自哪里 情感还是所向披靡（天才大礼包这个戏是 情感浓度过高了呜哇————
剧本和音乐都好棒！一个很沉重的题材却一直通过场景转换来减轻大家的悲伤…加上个人的故事和小镇居民的爱心，最后看到眼睛湿润…
