在大中華圈的家庭裏，每一個個體都像小孩子一樣地情緒輸出：不能說不intimid，但是也談不上幸福吧。
细节丰满，泪点足，但完成度似乎差一点儿。
它远算不上完美的电影，移民和SARS的背景都用得不算好，但换一个角度，背景只是背景，它是生活中必然面对的变化与挫折，一个家庭如何处理，如何面对，如何和解才是这部电影真正想讲的东西，它不算好，但它太真实了，太像会发生在我们家中的事情，而电影在一个稍微失真的和解中戛然而止。但，结束了吗？不，生活仍会继续，挫折与变化是人生永难回避的境况，怎么办？4星。
影片开头你看到了大量的东亚文化控诉（借以美台环境对比之名），展现了标准的东亚家庭亲子之痛，叠加代际文化等因素，最关键的演讲稿的出现，琢磨着扔个大炸弹，结果掏耳朵虚晃一枪以为喷的是男权（讲真的，这片子里爸爸就是牛马），其实核心还是亲情之爱，但确实是很台湾的方式了。最后呈现了以小见大的台湾家庭情景小品。
很别扭，拧巴，又很常见的母女关系，大概是许多女孩都会经历的一段。不过可以肯定的是，母亲真的很爱你，即使有时候你觉得不够好，但她真的在努力的做到最好。
看到非典，仿佛就是如今眼前的一幕。她渐渐接受了现实和生活，我想最后大女儿不会再想回到美国了吧。
题材不错，执行不行。剧本和剪辑都存在很大问题，人物的情绪线断裂，节奏僵硬。有几场戏挺灵的，演技也不错，但拼不成一个整体。
林嘉欣这次演出了不一样的感觉，有张静初的味道了。
家庭矛盾，年龄代购，文化差异，这些是台湾电影里最常见的主题，电影只点到为止，并未展开，缺少一针见血直击要害的点。
说这个有什么用，反正我也活不久了。看着一阵难受~
作为东亚家庭情节剧比不起李安和陈哲艺，作为年轻女性与家庭关系比不起Andrea Arnold，Fish Tank里不经设计的女孩与白马倒更加动人。因为过于精巧反而不足够真诚了，我喜欢更粗糙或更巧思一点的。
2022.3.3 今天上线的 本来是想先看昨天有很多新熟肉的造王者的(其实我还是想等字幕组的熟肉)但是这部分更高就先来看这部了 好看..好久没看这么真实 这么朴实无华的片子了 可以说是近些年我看过的国语片最佳之一了..全员都在飙演技 为啥大陆的演员就做不到呢..其实主要还是表现受过西方文化熏陶的女孩从美国回来后与别的女孩的格格不入 其实是很真实的表现了中国人对于美国来的人 以及那个年代对于美国的想法了 原来还有台客这种蔑称 发生在民国92年也就是03年非典的时候 就这样看 那时的非典跟现在的新冠很像啊 唾液检验跟核酸一样 也要隔离15天 女主演技是真的太好了..小女主不懂事写了有多恨自己妈妈的演讲稿还要参赛 一心想着回美国学校里没朋友 二女儿得非典 妈妈得癌症 最后爸妈都因为这些突发状况哭了
很好理解的小故事，说不出哪里好，但看完的确会被感动。
其实这一部里林嘉欣中年癌症母亲的形象要比瀑布里思觉失调全职母亲的贾静雯要丰富一些，叛逆带刺的青春期、自怨自艾的母亲、疲惫不堪的父亲，2003年的疫情差一点压倒这个家庭，但一夜之间一地鸡毛的亲情重新凝聚起来。美国女孩里的美国梦和台客的身份差异与认同只在词眼上探讨了一点点，更多的空间留给了过分饱满甚至溢出的亲情拉锯，激烈的争吵和崩溃，大开大合的情绪碾压有点让人窒息。
非常动人，几位小演员的表演非常好，作为导演第一部长片来说有很多值得学习的地方，尤其是那种人物虚焦的状态，反而突出了生活本身。但很遗憾的是导演想要的有些多，包括两种意识形态的冲突、宗教体系的差异，家庭中个人的故事展开，都没有能够交代，但瑕不掩瑜，很好
倒也不是电影不好，演的挺好的，小女儿比较可爱，但是好累啊，每天生活本来就是这样了，看电影还要看这样的电影。。
叙事是稳的，小女孩演技也挺好。阮凤仪那一届AFI学生还挺传奇的，想想一个电影专业的学生要经历多长时间才能在毕业之后拥有自己的处女作？挺感慨的、想中途放弃了
