The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 初以为就是剧本杀模式电影 但并不是 又以为是本格推理 但其实也还没到那么硬核 万合式的插科打诨和致敬架起了前半段的趣味点 可怕的是后半部分故事的推理不禁想起了上海小红楼的案子 只不过现实更残忍 当然字幕部分的彩蛋仍然是万合式的自嘲 但不得不说 就导演方面的才华刘循子墨是强于易小星的 至少在长片上是如此
今年一共在电影院看了两部，其中这部是单位要求的，现场签到，三个小时看得昏昏欲睡。
人物动机莫名其妙，开头剪得乱七八糟，认真写人物前史很费劲吗？比十二怒汉少一半人怎么就这么难剪呢？电影虽然是视听艺术，但是不知怎么回事这片子有一股烟弹味、屁味、脚味混合味，主创团队太幼稚了，尤其是自以为深沉的部分，幼稚得像猿猴互相掏蛋以证信任。
刘循子墨的处女作竟然还不错！演员选得便宜但也恰到好处。剧本作为类型片逻辑没问题，两个地方，一个是布景有浮光，不够真，一个是剧作小聪明（嘎吱乐）有点多，算是万合天宜的传统艺能。韩寒和万和关系还真是不错，很看好啊！
只说实话： 1、片长太长，对观众非常不友好。战争戏完全可以减少，士兵互相闹着玩的戏完全可以删减一部分，三个小时的电影，都开始两个小时了，才出发到长津湖； 2、万里这个角色很不讨喜。明白导演想让观众看到一个小男孩成长为一个战士的蜕变，但是放在那样的战争环境下，两次三番耍性子，太过胡闹； 3、再现神片段。敌我坦克射出的炮弹空中对撞，这概率估计不会很大； 4、电脑特效出戏。电影刚开始就抠图，后面战争场面的特效也是显得很粗糙，说真的，如此重要的一部影片确最终呈现出来时这个效果，还是很意外的。 以上是看完电影后我个人的一点观后感，不喜勿喷。
一部对绝大部分观众来说都非常有观影快感的影片。无论是紧凑的剧情、有血有肉的每个战士，还是震撼的场面和音效。从来没觉得电影院的时间过得那么快过，结局依然意犹未尽。四字弟弟饰演的伍万里眼神戏精准，从小混混成长成不屈战士的过程让人动容，不愧是新生代扛把子。吴京胡军发挥精彩，对手戏看点十足。
即使转战大银幕，团队仍然以《万万没想到》时期那种剪辑风格沾沾自喜，很下头。
长时间的战争场面，看得人头昏脑胀是真的。但不否认这场战役的伟大，只不过作为艺术形式呈现，它还不够那么好
感人的是历史，是献身的人民。电影拍的实在一般。这么大制作，能不能把有的布景做的真实一点。
胡军全剧笑点和泪点担当，李晨的痞子人设还不错哈哈哈
战争是残酷的，希望世界和平，但内心的小我在说美国人日本人英国人不配
战争片的宏大被展现的淋漓尽致，所有人物都有很好的刻画，尤其是易烊千玺饰演的万里拥有完整的成长线，他也完美演绎出了万里经过残酷的战争后，从少年到成熟，从江边野孩子变成了一个真正的兵的过程！片中祖国河山的部分超级美，应该是凯歌导演拍的，为了这大好河山我们必须打这场仗！看完后不夸张的说，《长津湖》是我看过的战争片中拍的最好的！也是为数不多拍摄抗美援朝的电影！伟大的志愿军们，永远是最可爱的人！
有点惊喜。故事本身悬疑性和喜剧性就很不错，而在这之中加入了大量从业者的自嘲，既惬和剧中人物设定又让我会心一笑，这种喜剧非常高级。而除此之外还有大量的隐喻，南京方面的行为、你看不看得懂等，留有自我阐释的空间。剧情很吸引人，本来非常嫌疑犯似的反转让故事基调不那么灰暗，可最后失事的轮船又在基调上铺上了灰纱啊。
虽然有些不如人意的地方。但就凭这个题材。他就值五星

不管方式多么逗乐，悲剧终究是悲剧；不管怎么掩饰反转，伤痛依旧是伤痛。你以为是民国，其实就是现在。
借用导演的一句话：电影上映后就应该放手了，最后一环的创作交给观众。大家如果能感受到我想表达的其实是一种心照不宣，如果感受不到，解释也用处不大。
