The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 整体还不错。犯罪集团太强大就不真实了。警察又太弱鸡。连姆大叔两头作战。
片子后半段那种“你我都知道TA做尽了坏事，可是没有证据，法律就毫无作用”其实也很贴合当下，最后好人离职，坏人庆幸，无辜者和吹哨者身死，依然只能靠以暴制暴，何不是一种无奈。
本来觉得这部影片蛮一般，但是导演结尾处理手法还是蛮讨喜，多一颗星给予与众不同的想法💡……以往所向披靡老头没想会在这部片子有着别样的结局。老年痴呆冷血杀手接到任务俐落执行，多场暗中刺杀+枪战对决+近身打斗有几场看得蛮过瘾……

剧情肯定俗套，但是不至于烂片，有连大叔的电影还是要看的，毕竟不是当打之年，看一部少一部。杰森斯坦森都五十多岁了，硬汉越来越少了。
劳模圣母大叔，迟暮蛇蝎美女，一帮二线明星，老套滥俗剧情，看过马上就忘。
快七十的人了，连姆尼森的动作自然是不快的，但还是充满着力量感。基本上不用再期待他能在这个年纪里在荧幕上有新的突破，每看一部他的电影都可以当做是一次对他荧幕生涯的致敬。
关键时刻，枪里竟然没有撞针？这个故事告诉我们什么，细节决定成败啊！
在男主决定留下看护金矿的时候我就在想，另一个人会不会故意拖时间..... 而在已经很崩溃的状态下,有车经过，男主看了看车又看了看金矿，最后还是没有求救... 就很无语 典型要钱不要命。不过很高兴Zac 尝试不同类型电影
《掘金》是一部不错的探宝类影片，虽然看过很多类似的电影，但我觉得，掘金还是拍出了不一样新意，比如大漠孤烟，困守于此的人类和动物、游走在罕无人迹的姐妹花等等，影片情节看似简单，却深刻的揭示了人性在财富面前，所显示的那种自私和贪婪。
最后的结局太爽片了……年老的liam，打戏异常吃力，看得心酸
一无是处，中老年人自嗨爽片，问题一点也不爽
其实电影还是可以的，就是这个字幕特么机翻的？？？已经完全影响对影片内容的解读，于是我又英文看了一遍，mf
自古美人叹迟暮，不许英雄见白头。几乎没法看，老头不但身手不太行了（比前几部有反弹），还阿兹海默了……莫妮卡贝鲁奇也残了。哎……

3.5分，⭐⭐⭐导演牛，演员牛，就是剧情差点儿。这个杀手不太冷+“失忆”+墨西哥🇲🇽。动作戏真好看+黑法律制裁。PS：莫妮卡·贝鲁奇对不起＞人＜
全篇只有3个人，但大部分时间是独角戏，不明白到底为什么要留一个人来看金子，这又不会长脚跑了，做好标记一起去找挖掘机不就得了，在贪婪的欲望面前，感觉这脑子都不好使了，光想着发大财，没有荒漠生存经验还要硬留下来，结局也是猜到了，中规中矩可以一看
