完成度很高，几个涂鸦人物构成了电影最大的泪点。在小新的世界里，成年观众也可以感受到久违的童心和温暖。
从内部打开的视角很新颖，但在剧作和影像上似乎没有让人眼前一亮的东西。
影片中的艾希曼给人一种惊悚感，生动展示何谓“平庸之恶”。他也是本片中最令人毛骨悚然的角色。

想象力拯救世界，新之助就是贱得可爱，而人的 私心在电影里也是展露无遗。

危机面前，具有童真和牺牲精神的少数勇者，拯救了只会推脱责任和相互指责的大人们。

主题仍旧是成人世界与孩童观的对立辩证，不过没有陷入说教的窠臼，冒险和逗趣的比例更大，那么什么时候蜡笔小新剧场版能引进一次呢？
