The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 从头能预料到尾的简单剧情，没有复杂的情绪，没有错综的人物关系，唯一值得一提的是老亨的演技真不错
想看西部片就能看到这么朴实纯正的西部片真好。
太多售卖廉价情感的电影的现在，这样的电影算是少有了。
老亨利年轻时是比利小子，大概是大盗之类。整体故事简单，但是西部片多是这种打打杀杀的彪枪场面。（2022/4/7 疫情泛滥不知周几的日子）

没有女人的电影一部。
到今天2021年了还拍这种老派复古西部片，开头就知道结局。但我还是喜欢，这就够了
绕了一圈还是回到原点
不废话，不矫情，不拖泥带水，就是干，太爽了
四星，平静的杀人，平静的死，像极了多数人的一生。
这类西部片子我好有一比，就象中国古代的律诗或者八股文（优秀的那种），都是一个完整的小故事成功塑造一个人物，起承转合结构一板一眼的，精巧如同导演系毕业生的设计作品，可以平均高分，也不够特别出彩。

拓荒精神下的孤胆英雄，有些科恩兄弟《大地惊雷》的影子。事了拂衣去，深藏功与名。想起戈达尔说的那句：一部电影只需要一步枪和女孩就够了。我也超想拍酷女孩枪手的故事。
就是不知不觉看完了，一个半小时，说明逻辑没问题，节奏紧凑。挺喜欢主人公的性格，隐忍克制，但是就像好汉歌一样，该出手时就出手。
《老亨利》（2021）：
西部片就是美国人的武侠片。一个金盆洗手的江湖高手，却不料再次卷入江湖仇杀当中。这样的剧情是不是就熟悉多了。从西部片横向比较其实比较普通，胜在干净利落味道纯正。
