The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 虽然时局日坚，理想还是要有的，且要有实现理想的勇谋
简单说是两集<律政强人>港剧，但智斗感，演技力道全无，走个标准程序。
怀念曾江和廖启智，如果只看故事特别还是国语版的话，那真是妥妥的新时代烂港片无疑。但在中后段，你其实可以发现一些老港片一息尚存的刺眼镜头，以及，对社会政治的黑色隐喻，大胆表述。这需要走出故事，从当下回望过去三十年，再一路看到现在。
上次看到章子怡说，成为妈妈后会很怕死，因为总是担心孩子。
自首的太生硬了，不过可能却很真实。剧本整体比较平。
三颗星全部给方中信在片尾的一段辩论式的陈述。
有点牵强的剧情设定，最后方中信的话算是升华了主题，只要相信光明，就一定会被照亮！
结局真是太简单粗暴了 我给你钱你把真相说出来
电影本身真的是模式化痕迹过重，全靠一群老戏骨演技支撑。
二星半，挺平庸的，因为廖启智遗作，所以加半颗星。
最后一段律师发言好评。
这不是电影，这就是硬塞啊，老师们，你们都不睁睁眼吗？
廖和曾，游艇飙戏加一个⭐️，TVB演技的天花板。
最后一段方中信说鸡汤太尬了。
陈家乐一如既往的太嫩，担不起大任。
怕死的反面，又会变得更勇敢和更有担当。因为想做一个更好的人，创造一个更好的世界给他们。

这个官司太简单了……可以压缩到90分钟的……
故事讲的拖拖拉拉的，明明设定还不错但是整体却没有明显的跌宕起伏。角色和角色之间的冲突也太平淡了，论专业知识也没有摆出来几条证明主角的能力，有种读到了作者很有野心但是知识储备量特别不足的小说的感觉。
人设的体现还是弱了点
