The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. Darren and Annie still enjoy each other’s company and laugh at each other’s jokes, but, unfortunately, they can’t remember the last time they had sex. When a dinner party conversation leads to an honest discussion about the state of their love life, and when a sexy bikini photo shoot leads to crossword puzzles instead of sex, they begin to flirt with a way to spice things up. The deal: one night of freedom, no strings attached, no questions asked. Could a freebie be the cure for their ailing sex life? And will they go through with it? 香港老戏骨的尽力之作。
故事简单，漏洞多。多两星都给廖叔，这样的演技，唉，看不到了
港片TVB化的又一个代表 话说期待方中信回来演港剧呀
陈家乐还是回去唱歌吧plz plz plz，香港是真的没有人了，一群老戏骨都带不动
自首的太生硬了，不过可能却很真实。剧本整体比较平。
怪闷的，有点尬。剧本其实还可以，但转折点和线索处理得非常低级。老辣律师利用程序漏洞帮当事人争取权益的点本来应该是闪光点，但也没把握好。
完全支撑不起他站出来作证的原因

感觉好久没有看过这么精彩的法庭戏了。而且还是智叔的遗作。
最终正义还不是靠着女孩父亲的背景实现的 只能说凶手惹了不该惹的对手
公义要靠非法手段实现，每个人都为实现公义付出代价，这是法制的悲哀，公义与法制间矛盾这种早已拍滥的题材，依然一直有人拍，而这种对法制的不信任，试问又是因何而成？

四、夜店真的是约炮的地方。
很久之前香港很多律师题材的影视，这么多年过去好像没什么长进
为什么总有智障的导演，找到脑瘫编剧，傻逼演员，拍的智障电影，投资方是智障吗？当然不是，就是为了洗钱吧。这些娱乐圈人渣们，就不能学学韩国棒子，美国佬好好拍电影赚钱吗？赚到钱了，就算都烂成这样，都不觉得羞耻吗？？娱乐圈就是脸皮厚啊，那么多不要脸无知之徒的人，在里面骗钱。
把电视剧浓缩成电影，果然也不是个个都能精华。放到20年前，这电影绝对OK，现在看，只能有种TVB江郎才尽的感觉，曾志威，李逸峰也救不了。

剧本整体是有港片味道的，尤其对于看过《律政强人》的来说，本剧一直被调侃为律政强人的影版后续，只不过，张强仍在，与其对决的却不是KC了。
