Whenever I see La Paura I think of it as a companion piece to Eyes Wide Shut, or maybe it is the other way around. Adultery makes both films tick but in different ways. I think Phillip French was right on the money when he pointed out a Wizard of Oz thing in Kubrick's last work. Like Dorothy, Tom and Nicole go through fantasies and nightmares and at the end Dorothy's reassuring childish motto "there's no place like home" is ironically updated to the adult circumstantial adage "there's no sex like marital sex". Kubrick's take is intellectual, he never leaves the world of ideas to touch the ground. He taunts the audience first with an erotic movie and then with a thriller and refuses to deliver either of them. He was married to his third wife for 40 years, until he died. Rossellini was still married to Ingrid Bergman when he directed La Paura; they had been adulterous lovers and their infidelity widely criticized La Paura is a tale, a noirish one. The noir intrigue is solved and the tale has a happy ending. The city is noir; the country is tale, the territory where childhood is possible. The transition is operated in the most regular way: by car, a long-held shot taken from the front of the car as it rides into the road, as if we were entering a different dimension. Irene (Bergman) starts the movie: we just see a dark city landscape but her voice-over narration tells us of her angst and informs us that the story is a flashback, hers. Bergman's been cheating on her husband. At first guilt is just psychological torture but soon expands into economic blackmail and then grows into something else. From beginning to end the movie focuses on what Bergman feels, every other character is there to make her feel something. Only when the director gives away the plot before the main character can find out does he want us to feel something Bergman still can't. When she finds out, we have already experienced the warped mechanics of the situation and we may focus once again on the emotional impact it has on Bergman's Irene. In La Paura treasons are not imagined but real, nightmares are deliberate and the couple's venom suppurates in bitter ways. Needless to say, Ingrid has another of her rough rides in the movies but Rossellini doesn't dare put her away as he did in Europa 51, nor does he abandon her to the inscrutable impassivity of nature (Stromboli). His gift is less transcendent and fragile than the conclusion of Viaggio in Italia. He just gives his wife as much of a fairy tale ending as a real woman can have, a human landscape where she can finally feel at home. Back to the country, a half lit interior scene where shadows suggest the comfort of sleep. After all, it's the "fairy godmother" who speaks the last words in the movie.
Dewey其实不该死。这个系列没有了Dewey，真的只有一半的灵魂了。
怎么说呢，这部其实很一般，可以说很差了，但是毕竟是情怀之作。不过恐怖片，总是主角团获胜是不是太没意思了。
没见过这么蠢的双方，把观众当傻子么？早干嘛去了，最后这么有战斗力早干嘛去了？片子前面大部分节凑又慢，废话又多

作为续集拍成这样已经很不错了，当然第一部的经典地位无法撼动
不连着看的话，已经忘了前几集主角是谁、讲啥了。
杀戮电影的启蒙教材，这系列的续集虽然数量不及动辄十几部的万圣节和十三号星期五，但每部的质量都不错。除了最初的三部曲之后，间隔很多年的4、5集即使换导也都保留了本系列原汁原味的精髓。每一集都有努力在保留原作风格的基础上不断加入新的想法、探讨和关于恐怖片和对自身的解构和自嘲，这也是惊声尖叫系列区别于万圣节和十三号星期五等狗尾续貂无限复活无脑杀戮的原因。尽管片子本身一直在节角色口中的规则来吐槽一些角色们的愚蠢操作，但本片仍旧逃不掉一些主角的反智操作，又或者反派死于话多的老生常谈也未能幸免。但总体而言算是同类型片里的优秀选手和诚意续作。后期的受害者们越来越具有反抗的智慧与力量，铁三角之一的死亡从他出场开始的颓丧气场就已经感受得到，sid和gal真的是yyds。btw sid保养得真好。
在吐槽别的影片的同时，自己也摆脱不了俗套。
杀手的动机竟然跟第四部一样，毫无新意...可惜了警长
Mikey Madison的脸就已经剧透了，有她在，除了死的惨就是死的惨。
只是一个没有系列情怀的纯路人，看完整部电影是懵逼的。我能感觉出这一部想要从新角度推陈出新，但是却又掉入了另一个怪圈，就，毫无逻辑可言。
又是一个毁前作系列，和最近看的德州电锯杀人狂一样，不作死就不会死，强化反派，队友永远弱鸡。
与前作隔了10年，与再前面几部隔了快20年，几乎是一代观众的时间了，看了开头发现好多人记不起来，又去看了前4部快剪补课。确实是一部粉丝向的电影，在现在各种大片横飞的影院里，看到这样的小成本恐怖片，其实已经是很不容易的事。这个系列最特别的就是不断总结各种恐怖片的规则，然后观众以为你都已经说了，肯定不可能了，但偏偏就再给你来一下，有点自嘲的味道。为还能看到这样OLD STYLE的恐怖片庆幸吧，当这些老派的导演和演员都逝去了，不知道我们的孩子们除了漫威还能看些什么……

对于我来说，这是一部非常合格的续集，作为这系列电影的粉丝，我很满意，期待第六部
惊声尖叫终于自己跳出来了 要不然自己天天吐槽恐怖片 从头到尾还是一样 这个结局终于爽了一次
而且多次闪现的男友加出现面具人，早早就破解谜题了可以说，不过是强行加个女人双打。
自己都在说“除了第一部再无佳作了”！虽然后续所有片子我都给了三星，哪怕都在骂烂片，但我依然会继续追。虽然我猜到了凶手……虽然中间也有怀疑。
