制作精良的传记电影，女主清丽飒爽。说她从落难到发迹，到为保护妓女权利跟传统道德做斗争。看着会觉得像另一种印度版教父，因为电影用传奇色彩的叙事方式，旨在塑造人物跟故事，而缺乏了点真实联系。结尾推向女性权利的高度，同样也是可圈可点。
