The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 超差的一集，内核跟龙虾刑警是一样的，但除了体现日本变态般的高级服务态度，其他的看点非常少。跟第一集相比，少了很多警察冒充店员方面的有趣桥段，推理的内容也让观众毫无参与感，又是最后时刻冒线索，警察从头到尾做无用功。总之很差，500个嫌犯的壮观迷局没有一丁点拍出来的。
就是我觉得美国的酒店根本不需要从业人员这么精细贴心的服务……
这次连感情戏都这么烂 这么单薄…..弄啥勒
真是无法忍受某国人的虚伪做作，离了个大谱，莫名其妙的犯罪动机，还硬要合理化酒店员工的表不准行为，无语
两星半。比尚气好太多了，尚气真的应该被开除漫威籍。赵婷在导演层面的贡献很可能还不如编剧层面。除了一点经典的婷式日光-逆光-广角特写，别的暂时没看出来和经典的漫威电影有什么区别。尤其是最后四分之一的高潮戏基本和赵婷没什么关系了。但是这个故事和节奏把握得还是挺不错。虽然我觉得还可以再砍掉一些情节线，放到之后的电影去讲（雪碧整个就很游离，我要是编剧会基本砍完她的戏份），但是第一部里大量要交代的背景信息还是被安排得相对合理。总体来讲无功无过质量合格的漫威产品，除了人种上面的一点新鲜搭配，其他突破性的东西那是没有。娱乐性不错，如果能上映肯定很推荐去电影院看。之后再看和漫威宇宙如何互动吧。
有一个对立很有意思，凶手和全员男性刑警的交手，虽然本片又臭又长，但是我似乎感觉到这种对立的意义。悬疑还挺悬的，但是没啥意思。

活整的太烂了，下次别整了。不知道为什么上一部还很来电的长泽雅美和木村拓哉，这一部却很不来电…酒店管理整的像抖m人群聚会一样，可能这就是日本的酒店文化吧…
虽然没猜中谁是凶手，并且男装的设定有点牵强，开头的跳舞和结尾我差点以为面具脱了是开头跳舞的人事凶手，在他们跳舞的时候我脑补了半天动机是啥，在哪交代的。可能要看下原著的书才能明白了吧。
犯罪的动机有点尬。。。麻酱终于去洛杉矶啦。。。
今回も楽しませていただきました♪。希望腹肌東寶放棄欺詐師多拍假面系列🙂還是那個舞台般的佈景，封閉的酒店，大晦日，假面舞會，虛構的客人，猜犯人，一切都將觀眾從日常生活引領到一個非日常的奇妙空間，警察和酒店從業者鮮為顧客知的「後台」反而變成了取悅觀眾的「前台」。我大概是真的很喜歡這個大堂，這個空間相當自由，走位機位千變萬化，可以呈現的關係錯綜複雜。第二集的新田山岸比起對立更多了默契，拓麻這個搭配本身也讓人看不夠，結尾啟程的空想空間的兩人好帥/好美！久違地看到了高村佳偉人弟弟。
没有上一部好看，但阵容依旧豪华。光看这个系列就得感慨，日本演艺界的美魔女可真多啊，一个个比之年轻时清汤挂面的样子风味都更佳。这一部的鱼叔终于一眼就看见了。
感觉比前作好点但也没好很多，可能观影的主要目的就是木村拓哉和长泽雅美吧。
看过书，只记得手表有玄机，别的忘得干干净净，还跟第一部记混了。这样看起来反而轻松一点。最不明白的是这部的镜头风格，非常怪异。小日向文世真可爱呀！
What a convoluted mess. 我不知道制作者们有没有想过，这样描写永恒族，是几乎剥夺了人类文明所有的agency，这对我来说是远比节奏，角色等等剧本技术性更深更大的问题。

出场人物那叫一个多，反复记人很累的好吗！在正式情节结束前一分钟，我以为我上一部瞎了，竟然看出了新田和山岸的感情线。谁知道新田在山岸临出发去洛杉矶前突然间又约饭！这大概就是“死去的感情线突然复活并且攻击了我”
经典阖家大联欢，乐趣完全是建立在在认卡司和找演员上
