The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 比第一部好看，顺便被勒什圈粉，这高挑瘦削忧郁大男孩居然还会唱歌弹琴。更有趣的是，这部是真的有恐怖成分，也向好几部经典恐怖片致了个敬。
本片以退役的美国奥运竞走冠军的日常生活为起点，面对丈夫的漠视，面对没有工作的无奈，便想到用优惠券给自己带来无限的快感，还能节省开支，偶然发现靠写申诉信就能换来免费的兑换券，便开启了以免费优惠券为源头的商业犯罪帝国。
